Caileen Hill (O wner/Lead Teacher)

My love for teaching children, and working side by side with parents to help their children succeed, has motivated me to continue on this path of working with kids and families.
I began my career working with children in 2004 when I opened my family child care, Once my children started attending elementary school I came to find that working 12 hour days was hard on my kids. At that time I transitioned to running a part-time preschool program. When I opened up my preschool in 2011 I realized my passion for teaching in a whole new way! This passion drove me to pursue my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Family Studies from the University of Washington.. In the past couple of yearsI have also taken on a new role of mentor to college students looking to get their degrees in Early Childhood education, and to daycare providers who want to improve their programs. I have loved the opportunity to share my passion with others!
My husband and I have been married since 2001 and have two children. In my spare time I enjoy spending time in our yard and working in the garden. I am a 12th woman through and through (a big Seahawks fan to those of you who don't come from Washington). My husband and I enjoy doing home improvement projects and we covet our family movie nights with our children! Family is very important to us and we spend a lot of time with our extended family.
I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you and your child! Please email or call me if you have any questions.
Carla Olsen (Assistant Teacher)

Carla began working with me in January of 2015. Her dedication to this preschool and to the children and families that we have the honor of working for is such a blessing to me!
Carla grew up in Moses Lake and moved to the western side of the state in 2011. She has two children, one of which attended preschool here prior to heading off to "big kid" school. Carla enjoys taking her children out to experience as much of our community as possible, she is always looking for fun activities to do with the kids and giving them opportunities to try new things. Carla loves the sun and takes any and every opportunity to travel where she can get some good ol' Vitamin D! Carla shares my love of the Seahawks, so don't mess with our Sundays August - February!
Carla is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Washington, which shows her absolute dedication to children!
